Rok Janža (na sliki), mladi raziskovalec na Oddelku za raziskave organizmov in ekosistemov je prejel fakultetno Prešernovo nagrado Biotehniške fakultete za svoje magistrsko delo z naslovom Spolni dimorfizem mrežnice obada Tabanus bromius, ki ga je opravil pod mentorstvom izr. prof. dr. Gregorja Belušiča in somentorstvom asist. dr. Aleša Škorjanca. V magistrskem delu je preučil anatomske in fiziološke aspekte obadove mrežnice. Na slovesni podelitvi je nagovoril občinstvo z zahvalnim govorom v imenu vseh nagrajencev.

Rok Janža (in the picture), a young researcher in the Department of Organisms and Ecosystems Research has been awarded the Biotechnical Faculty Prešeren award for his Master thesis titled Sexual dimorphism of retina in the horsefly Tabanus bromius. The work was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Gregor Belušič PhD and asist. Prof. Aleš Škorjanc PhD. In his master thesis, he has investigated the anatomical and physiological aspects of the horsefly retina. At the award reception, he was given the honour of giving a speech on behalf of all the awardees.
