Mutagenicity analysis under GLP

On the NIB we have certified GLP laboratory for testing mutagenicity with bacterial reverse mutation assay, or the Ames test (OECD 471).

Our young researcher Matevž Rupar is a recipient of Prešeren award of Biotechnical Faculty.

Matevž Rupar, a young researcher at the Department of Biotechnology and Systems Biology is a recipient of Prešeren award of Biotechnical Faculty for the year 2010 for his research on the molecular diversity of Slovenian isolates, which cause Flavescence dorée. The mentor of this research was Prof. Dr. Marina Dermastia. This prize is awarded for the outstanding student achievements that have scientific and applicative impact.
