New steering comitee was elected on the 4th congress of International working group of legume and vegetable viruses (IWGLVV) in Malaga. Prof. dr. Maja Ravnikar became a member of steering comitee as a next elected president.

The aim of the International working group of legume and vegetable viruses (IWGLVV) is to promote direct contact between legume and vegetable virus research workers throughout the world by distribution of information and material among group members and by organisation of international meetings open to non-members. The group was established in 1971 and is composed of 85 members from all around the world. To become a member the recommendation of a current member is needed, together with steering comitee approval.

3rd congress was organised in 2008 by NIB in Ljubljana. British society for plant pathology acknowledged the good organization of the congress.
