Bled and its alpine lake with famous island is one of the most popular Slovene holiday resorts. Lake Bled is Slovene national symbol, known also as Slovene and Alpine pearl. Used to be a natural beauty, symbol of the clean undamaged nature... maybe never again. Also a potentially toxic cyanobacterial blooming confirms, that this ecosystem is far away from healthy dynamic equilibrium.
