Anka Kuhelj (in the picture on the left), a young researcher at the Department of Entomology, received at the conference Invertebrate Sound and Vibration 2013 in Glasgow 'von Helversen Student Award', which is awarded for the best student research work.

She presented her research of males’ rivalry behaviour in the lecture entitled 'Insight into intraspecific interactions in the leafhopper Aphrodes makarovi (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae).
