Lenin Leiva from Ecuador attended course on GMO detection at National institute of biology

Mr. Lenin Leiva from WISELABORATORIO CIA. LTDA. (Laboratorio CONTROL) Noruega, Suiza, Quito Ecuador had three weeks course at the Department of biotechnology and systems biology on detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In Ecuador they are establishing the regulatory system for GMOs and official laboratories. During his education in Slovenia he visited also the Ministry of agriculture and environment, where he was informed about Slovenian experiences on establishement of regulations on GMOs and whole Biosafety network, including laboratories. Mr. Lenin Leiva asked for education in NIB, because he read a book written by researchers form NIB on GMO detection (ŽEL, Jana, MILAVEC, Mojca, MORISSET, Dany, PLAN, Damien, EEDE, G. van den, GRUDEN, Kristina.
