International year of plant health and an introduction of the first EU reference laboratories on the National institute of Biology

On 18th of February we celebrated International year of plant health 2020 and introduction of the first EU reference laboratories on the National institute of Biology. On the event joined us many high Slovene officials, together with Slovene and international experts on plant health, European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO) and European commission. Work of important EU projects, as Valitest, Tropicsafe, Euphresco and Inextvir, was presented. We thank Slovenian National Assembly and Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection, who helped organizing the event.
