The programme for research education and employment of young researchers is one of the basic instruments of science policy of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
It has been significantly contributing to increasing of the quality of research and new recruitment for research teams since 1985. Young researchers participating in projects within the NIB are during their postgraduate studies regularly employed and work on basic or development-applied projects in the field of biology.
An average of 20 to 30 young researchers were educated at the NIB in the last five years. The best young researchers were employed at the Institute after concluding their education and represent human resources for its further development. Young researchers employed by other organisations now provide close links of the NIB with their respective organisations.
