Researcher of Department of Genetic Toxicology and Cancer Biology, dr. Jana Petković, received Krka Prize for Special Achievements in Research

Pharmaceutical company Krka d.d. (http://www.krka.si/) annually awards research projects (doctoral, master and graduate thesis and independent research work) in many areas of science and technology related to the pharmaceutical industry. In addition with Krka Prizes for secondary school students and for graduate and postgraduate students (http://www.krkinenagrade.si/sl/o-krkinih-nagradah), Krka also awards the authors of the five most daring, most prominent, the most important and for Krka the most useful thesis, for special achievements in the field of research. Among this year's winners of the prestigious Krka Prizes for outstanding achievements was also our researcher, Department of Genetic Toxicology and Cancer Biology, dr. Jana Petković. Ceremony and presentation of award-winning thesis was held on the 26th October 2011 at the company Krka in Novo Mesto.
