Short biography:

•    2004-2009: BSc in Biotechnology – University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical faculty, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Graduated under the supervision of assist. prof. Miomir Knežević, PhD, and Darja Marolt, PhD. Thesis title: »Adipose derived stem cells as a feeder layer for embryonic stem cells«.
•    June-September 2008: visiting scholar in prof. Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic's Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering at Columbia University, New York City, USA.
•    2009-2010: independent researcher at Blood Transfusion Centre, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Work on the project Systems Biology Tools Development for Cell Therapy and Drug Development – SYSTHER, in the context of programme INREMOS – Industrially Relevant Molecular Life.
•    2010-: University of Ljubljana, Medical faculty, interdisciplinary PhD programme Biomedicine,  Ljubljana, Slovenia. Supervisor: prof. Tamara Lah Turnšek, PhD.
•    2010-: Young researcher at Department of Genetic Toxicology and Cancer Biology, National Institute of Biology, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

•    The use of in silico methods in cancer research
