I was born on 5 August 1988 in Koper, Slovenia. I finished high school at Grammar School of Koper in 2007. The same year I proceeded studying chemistry at Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in University of Ljubljana and graduated at department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry in September 2011. In October 2011 I started my PhD study at Postgradtuate Study of Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme in Environmental Protection at University of Ljubljana under supervision of prof. dr. Jadran Faganeli and since November 2011 I am working as PhD student at Marine Biology Station, Department of National Institute of Biology.
FIELD OF RESEARCH
During my PhD study I'm focused on seasonal dynamics in structure, composition, origin and aggregation of colloidal organic matter (fraction of dissolved organic matter) in Gulf of Trieste and also its ability of complexing heavy metals.
