Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Nutrition at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana.
Bachelor's thesis: "Traditionally used medicinal and edible wild plants in the Alps and Karst as protection against intestinal diseases".

2016-2017:
Erasmus+ exchange in Food Technology at Instituto Politécnico de Beja, Portugal.
2018-2020:
Master's degree in Food Biotechnology and Biorefining at Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands.
Master's thesis: "Metabolic interactions between Rhizopus oryzae, Rhizopus oligosporus and Propionibacterium freudenreichii in vitamin B12 enriched lupine tempeh".
Advisor: Prof. dr. Eddy J. Smid.
2021–2022:
Research Assistant at the Plant Protection Department, Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, working in nematology, bacteriology and plant protection.
2022-2024:
Research Assistant at the Microbiology Department, Acies Bio, Ljubljana. Research focused on industrial biotechnology, microbial ecology, nitrogen fixation and the development of microbial biopesticides and biostimulants.
2024-:
PhD student in Environmental Sciences at the University of Nova Gorica and young researcher at the Marine Biology Station, National Institute of Biology, Piran.
Advisor: dr. Tinkara Tinta.
Research focuses on the microbiome of gelatinous zooplankton.
