Research expedition April 2016

Two researchers at the MBS, Iva Talaber and Katja Klun, are going to a research expedition in France.

Researchers Iva Talaber and Katja Klun are joining a team of French researchers from the Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography (MIO) on the research cruise in the gulf of Lyon (France), lead by Oliver Ross (MIO). The main goal of SeaQUEST is to examine the role of the Northern Current as a physical barrier to cross-shelf transport and the effect of its seasonal variability on the local biogeochemistry and plankton dynamics at meso- and sub-mesoscales.
