"More space for water"

The UNITED NATIONS Association of Slovenia in cooperation with Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO prepared a set of projects, with the aim to raise awareness about the importance of water resources management: a round table on world water day, a contest for mobile information and publication and e-workshop on international year of cooperation in the field of water.

 

Last Friday Night, in the context of researchers at the marine biological station in Piran held a presentation of the new mobile information points of the lead, which will serve in raising public awareness about the importance of water as a basic human goods. Her proposal for a graphic image, titled "Molecules" was awarded the first prize in the competition of the Association.

 

In the Night of researchers at the marine biological station in Piran also presented the publication, entitled "More space for water" (Več prostora za vode, in Slovene). This publication presents the functioning of Unesco in the field of water management, the international year of cooperation in the field of water and the provision of access to water in the 21st century. in the 16th century. Introductory thoughts for publication has recognized Slovenian avoided very easily by Prof. Dr. Light, head of Chair of Kajfež Bogataj agrometeorologist at the biotechnical faculty, University of Ljubljana, and a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on climate change (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).
